Horseman James Gillham

James Gillham along with his six brothers, his father and 2 brother-in-laws all served in the Revolutionary War. James was born in 1752 in Virginia and moved to South Carolina in 1763. He served in Colonel Brandon's regiment as a horseman. He later married Anne Barnett, a sister of Captain Barnett under whom he served. He moved to Madison county, Illinois in 1802. He died in 1813.
