This stone marker sits alone in a grassy area and generally, if you are not a waymarker looking for such a thing, you probably wouldn't notice it or even find it. The capsule was placed on July 4, 1976 in celebration of the nation's bicentennial. It is scheduled to be opened on July 4, 2076. The marker reads:

Time Capsule: July 4, 1976 - July 4, 2076
Placed In Commemoration Of The
Bicentennial And Donated By The
Rotary Club Of Washington Twp.
"Service Above Self"

When you enter the site the park sign will be on the left. Travel down Veterans Lane about 100 feet and park in the lot on the right. Cross the road, walk over the wooden bridge, continue to walk ahead and veer left, walk along the grass and it will be at your feet.
