Removed from the vestry roof and set up in the church yard to the left of the south porch, this limestone castellated chimney is now an orientation table. It was set up here in 2000 and the table is of stainless steel. It records various details of the village, height above sea level, population, grid reference, and notable events in the village's history besides the direct distances to various nearby villages, towns, and Sheffield. The only drawback is that there is no 'view from here'
