Oakwood Cemetery is a very small rural cemetery located next to a horse pasture and on the west side of Lake Arcadia. The only way to access this cemetery is to head east on 15th St. from I-35. The road dead-ends right after the cemetery when it hits the lake.
There are approximately 175 marked graves here. Some are old and homemade, and one has a mailbox next to it for loved ones to leave personal messages.
The gate can be opened easily to allow your vehicle to go in, but be sure to close it back when you leave! Hours are dawn to dusk.
