On December 19, 2008, the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation hosted an honorary dinner for VA Senator John W. Warner at the
National Museum of the Marine Corps. (Read
MCHF news release for more details.)
A plaque commemorating this honorary event has since been placed at a tree in dedication to John Warner near the chapel in the Semper Fidelis Memorial Park. The inscription reads:

The Marine Corps Heritage Center sits on land adjacent to the Quantico MCB in Triangle, VA and includes the National Museum of the Marine Corps and the Semper Fidelis Memorial Park. It is open daily to the public from 9 AM to 5 PM (except for Christmas). Admission is free to all its facilities.
