In front of the city hall and one of the attractions in Tavira's Praça da República. It only has two water jets.
There are a number of cafés opposite the fountain at which one can enjoy 'people watching' at the same time as having 'um café e um pastel de nata'.
When we visited it was just ticking over as it was rather windy, but it looked as if it would be quite spectacular when at full bore.
