A quick 3 minute walk up hill, through farmland, to a small wooden platform. Here is a painted sign showing the islands, and their names, in the Hauraki Gulf which can be viewed from this point. The island volcano - Rangitoto rises majesticaly from the sea. The evening sunsets can be spectacular so bring a camera.
