Interesting church with a very unique bell tower in front that looks more like a castle fortification. The tower has two neat little gothic style windows and is perfectly cube-like.

Built in 1915, this church, along with the other five on this 1/2 miles stretch of road, play a vital role in the cultural history of this newish Camden County town. The town was incorporated two years after this church was erected. The 1915 cornerstone is on this weird, concrete, rectangular prism projection coming off the front like a mini chimney. It reminded me of a weird, oddly placed turret. There is also some pretty nice stained glass all over the place.

History

On July 3, 1915, ground was broken for the existing building, the exterior of which has remained relatively the same to the present time. Five months later, on November 19, 1915, the church building and four lots on Kingston Avenue were sold for the total sum of $1,700.00. On May 4, 1920, the lot to the left of the church was purchased and the manse completed in what was considered record time. The only further acquisition of ground has been the lot to the rear of the church, which at the moment is serving as a parking lot.
