This Magnolia was presented to the people of Ablany, GA, by British Royal Air Force veterans. Located at the Government Center on Pine Ave, Albany, GA.

A monument near the tree reads:

This tree was planted by British Royal Air Force veterans who learned their flying skills in the USAAF South East Army Air Corps during 1941 - 1943.

It symbolizes the esteem, affection, and enduring friendship forged by these air men and people of Albany who so generously received over 5,000 RAF cadets.

A commemorative monument is located at Crown Hill Cemetery Albany.
