This Is St Andrews Parish Centre which ceased being a church in the Early 1960's due the the Abbey being so close (only over the road) The reason that the two building were so close together was that there was two parishes in the same town or Pershore (St Andrews and Holy Cross) one being run by Westminster and one by Worcester !
Since the Church has stopped being a church it has been turned into a parish centre (in 1972) and continues to serve this function to this day. It also has a peel of 7 Bell that are still used as the main bells for weddings etc that are held in the near by Abbey.
I don't think that you will find anywere else in the country that two churches/Abbey are so close together !
