This time capsule is located in front of the visitors center at the famous "Sign Forest" in Watson Lake. The inscription reads:
TIME CAPSULE
Placed here on the
occasion of the
50th anniversary
of the completion
of the Alaska Highway
September 12, 1992
The time capsule is scheduled to be opened in 2042.
