This gate was uniquely crafted for the Ellen Trout Zoo and sports the images of an alligator and a hippo -- two iconic species at the zoo. Because of the popularity for early morning walks around the park, a pedestrian pass through was put in to the right of the gate. The gate is open during regular park operating hours. The gate automatically closes at dark and opens at dawn.
