in Stafford County, VA, there is a memorial garden with stone marker in memory of Jerome E. Males. The stone is simply inscribed:

The garden is in the front of the community center building to the left of the entrance.
Who was Jerome Males? Comprehensive research reveals very little about this man or how this memorial came to be. The center is home to the North Stafford Community Improvement League and Boy Scout Troop 840, but cursory inquiries have yielded no further insight on this mystery citizen.
It is still a nice tribute to a man who obviously touched some people's lives.
