The summit of Estes Cone is just above treeline, leaving only the very top treeless, making it an interesting visual from the trailhead.

Estes Cone, located NE of Longs Peak, offers hikers an outstanding 360°ree view. With Twin Sisters and Lily Lake to the East, Longs Peak and Meeker to the West, this summit will take your breath away.

You can access the hiking trail from either the Lily Lake trailhead or the Longs Peak trailhead.
