The sundial on the curved back of the church in Antonaves is an interesting Rémi Potey sundial. Here the picture is of a maze not an enigmatic female. Ok there is an angel but the puzzle remains.
The motto is " La Temps enchaine, La lumiere guide." Time enchains, the light guides. Perhaps "Time ties us down, the light leads us forward."
Here I was disappointed by the sundial design aspects. We were there after lunch at 1 pm CET 23 October and the dial was reading 10:30. No combination of EQT and longitude would correct for this. The sundial is wrong. This sundial looks great but it is fundamentally wrong.
