As in many small towns, the water tower proudly displays the name of GRANADA. A quick web search found that the towns water system was replaced in 2001 using grant money (visit link) .

The interesting thing about this tower is the small building adjacent that has the scaffolding that might have held a tower - perhaps for railroad steam engines?
