Korean Memorial Sculpture is one of several sculptures installed in the
Living Memorial Sculpture Garden. The garden was created by volunteers under the guidance of Ric deLugo as a memorial to war dead. Land for the garden was donated by the United States Forest Service. Funding for the sculpture was raised by donation.
From the Smithsonian description:
Abstract full-length figure. The figure sits on a rock, its legs splayed out in front. Its head rests in its proper right hand; its proper right elbow rests on its proper right leg. A broken sword lies near its feet.
