MARK IS A STANDARD USCGS BRASS DISK MOUNTED VERTICALLY IN WEST WALL OF US POST OFFICE BUILDING, NORTHEAST OF INTERSECTION OF BROAD STREET AND JEFFERSON STREET---HIGHWAY 91N---AND 0.15 MI (0.24 KM) NORTH OF INTERSECTION OF OGLETHORPE AND JEFFERSON, ON JEFFERSON, AT 4.6 FT (1.4 M) ABOVE GROUND. MARK IS 48.2 FT (14.7 M) SOUTH OF NORTHWEST CORNER OF BUILDING, 64.5 FT (19.7 M) EAST OF BACK OF CURB OF JEFFERSON STREET. NOTE, YEAR OF 1917 STAMPED ON DISK, NOT 1916 AS PREVIOUSLY REPORTED.
