And to the ladies that donated, think a "Thank You."
This rustic bench sits under the trees on the lawn to the North (left) of the library entrance. The dedication plaque is quite weathered; it took some work to make it out. But with a little spit and polish (and really sharp Waterweasel eyes), we made it out.
"This bench is donated to the Citizens of Salado as part of the 'No Child Left behind' project initiated by President George W. Bush. Salado Area Republican Women May 2000."
