This Richland County courthouse that is standing now, replaced one built in 1874. That courthouse burned down in 1913.
It was an opportunity to moderize the courthouse with better electrical and telephone services and equipment.
The building is currently getting a small makeover on the back of the building that is next to the police station. It should be done this year if all goes well.
