In the Salado Public Library's Memory Garden stands an oak sapling. Only about 6 feet tall now, this living monument to the memory of Christi Coleman will provide stately shade in years to come.

Tall oaks from little acorns grow.
One needs but a stretch of seasons
Not half as much as needed
For grieving to lose its reasons
Grow little oak, reach for the sky
And stretch out limbs that will shade us a spell
So people who come will thank Christi
And those who loved her so well.
Still young, but give it time. This oak planted in front of the Salado Public Library will shade visitors to the Memory garden soon enough. Meanwhile, our heartfelt sympathy extends to those with loving memory of Christi Coleman.

Christy Lee Coleman
Memorial services for Christy Lee Coleman, 34, of Salado will be held 10 a.m. Nov. 29 at First Baptist Church. Rev. Brian Dunks will officiate.
Christy Lee Coleman died Nov. 26, 2007 at her home.
She was born at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, to Howard and Elaine Brunson. Christy was a registered nurse at Scott and White hospital.
Survivors include her husband Clifford Coleman, children Josh and Amy, her mother and father Howard and Elaine Brunson of Salado; her sister Lorie and husband Brent McCallum of Salado and nieces and nephews Allison, Aaron, Austin and Sean. In-laws Norma and Bill Maedgen of Salado and Darrell and Rosemary Coleman of Lubbock and an extensive list of aunts and uncles.
