Marker Text: For ladies travelling alone, the Cozy Hotel was the only respectable hotel in town. In those days, The Bend Bulletin printed the guest list of the three “higher class” hotels in town; the Cozy Hotel was among them. With its twenty-foot ceilings in the lobby and dining area, and a modern central heating system, the Cozy Hotel catered to the most wealthy travelers.
