I noticed this memorial because of the lion heads. At first I thought the bricks were pavers to pay for DFFA activities. Then I realized this was possibly a memorial to Denver Firefighters who gave their lives to protect others (white brick with name and year). Research found that the red bricks are current and past Denver Fire Fighters. The building now houses the Denver Fire Fighters Union Local 858.
