The museum is on the second floor of the building but you buy admission tickets in the giftshop located on the first floor. A very slow elevator will take you up to the museum or you can take the stairs.
There is a wide variety of railroad artifacts in the museum including china, a train bell and lights. In one room you can listen to a live radio stream of train activity in the Temple area.
Outside there are several trains on display including a steam engine, a Pullman car and an Amtrak sleeper car.
Family days are every third Saturday and admission is reduced on those days.
