This Centennial Clock is located in Pryor, Oklahoma, for the citizens of Mayes County. Not many of these clocks have dedication plates on them, other than appreciation for fund raising. This one, however, has a plaque that reads:

A gift from the OOWA board of trustees
to the citizens of Mayes County, Ok.
on the event of the 100th birthday of
the state of Oklahoma

The Oklahoma Centennial Clock and Bell Project

A public art project that originally was to have 100 clocks throughout Oklahoma. The Centennial Clocks have gained so much popularity that fund drives are still on going in some communities, and more than 100 are in place, with more scheduled to be installed. More information can be gained by accessing this website. There are currently 114 installed or planned installations.
