This is a "Bears on Broadway". It's new home is in front of the Gimli Credit Union, 34 Centre St in Gimli, Manitoba.

In 2005, "Bears on Broadway" commemorated the 75th Anniversary of CancerCare Manitoba with 62 bears crafted from a concrete blend, weighing 8,000 pounds and standing 7 feet tall.
Since then they have all found permanent homes in various locations mostly in Winnipeg. This is one of 2 bears in Gimli, Manitoba which is on the shores of Lake Winnipeg, about 80 km north of Winnipeg.
This bear was only listed on the Bear Map as "Name the Bear" and was not shown in the Bear Gallery. The bear was repainted all white (except for the claws) in about 2017.
