The Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge Complex is comprised of five national wildlife refuges (NWR) and three wildlife management areas (WMA) that make up over 35,000 acres of wetlands and uplands in the Sacramento Valley of California.

The Colusa National Wildlife Refuge is one of the five NWR areas in this complex. There is a three-mile, graveled auto tour through wetlands and a one-mile walking trail along a lush riparian slough. Colusa Refuge typically supports wintering populations of more than 200,000 ducks and 50,000 geese.

The Refuge is open sunrise to sunset year-round. On a separate area of the Refuge, waterfowl and pheasant hunting is permitted seasonally.

Coordinates are for the car entrance off Highway 20. From Interstate 5, take exit 578 and head east on Highway 20 to the entrance.
