In Norwood, in Aaron Guild Park, there is a stone statue of a soldier looking across Washington Street.

Aaron Park is a small triangular-shaped green at the south end of downtown Norwood, and is bounded by Washington Street, Guild Street, and Central Street.

The statue has a pedestal, with an inscription on it, and a roughly life-like carving of a soldier. Behind the soldier is a flagpole with the U.S. flag and a Marine Corps. flag. On either side of the memorial is a bench and bushes, plus small U.S. flags planted in the ground.

The inscription is as follows:

In memory of all Marines in Norfolk County who gave their lives for our country.

Dedicated 1957 by the Norfolk County Marine Corps. League"
