This cemetery was first used in 1817 with the burial of Sally Eaton. It was last used in 1959 with the burial of Ralph Johnson. Many of the names on markers are familiar names of early settlers who are still known by the local road names including Spencer and Root. There are a few damaged stones and some are worn to the point where they cannot be read, but most are still legible.
