In Hollis' North Cemetery, along Silver Lake Road, lies Lieut. David Wallingsford. His is a simple stone, small and gray. On the front is the impression of a shield. Within the impression is written:

"Lieut. David Wallingsford
27th
Contl. Troops
Rev. War"

His date of death is bellow that:

"Died
March 12, 1791"
