ArtWalk - San Diego, CA - Festivals on Waymarking.com

Held April 24 & 25 in 2010 on India Street in the Little Italy neighborhood of San Diego, this festival celebrates mostly painters and sculptors who display their works in individual booths spread out over a several square block area. But, also present are some performing musicians and other vendors displaying wares, serving samples, etc. Various food options are also available...from vendors selling bratwursts from their temporary booths to the myriad of (mostly) Italian restaurants in the area.
The Little Italy area also has many other permanent art galleries you can wonder into as well.
Also some opportunites for the kids to try their hands at art. And it's all free-- unless of course you decide to purchase some art.
Get there early...parking can be difficult.
The festival started in 1984.
