Cherry Sprout is like the daughter of the Big City Market (BCM). It was started and is owned by two former employees of BCM.
Cherry Sprout is an interesting combination BCM which served the old neighborhood with lots of greens and ethnic food, and a reflection of the new neighborhood which is looking for organic produce and vegan, vegetarian and health foods. Cherry Sprout has a fridge case full of eggs, dairy, tortillas, margarine and salsas, but you can also find meat and cheese substitutes, specialty sodas and lots of spices.
