The Merrell Tevern is associated with Major General Joseph Whinton. It stands on the old Boston - Albany road. It was a stagecoach stop, tavern, and inn. The Merrell Inn has been serving as an Inn for many years. It has now become a very cosy Bed & Breakfast with 4 Guest Suites.
