From Wikipedia : " The original "Pep Boys" were Emanuel "Manny" Rosenfeld, Maurice "Moe" Strauss, Graham "Jack" Jackson and Moe Radavitz, four friends who pooled $800 in 1921 to open a single auto parts store.
