Abisha Samson that did duty at Bernard for ten days in October, 1780.

In an alarm of March, 1781, and one of August 10, 1781, he was a member of Capt. Jesse Safford's company; and in 1782, served as a corporal in Capt. Isaac Hurlburt's company, in Col. Thomas Lee's regiment, on an expedition to the northward under the immediate command of Major Gideon Brownson.
