Thsi mill is located in Oud Zuylen, a former village and now part of the town of Maarssen. It is located along a canal, with another windmill of the Bovenkruier type just across the canal.

The mill was built in 1830 and renovated in 1990/1991.

It can be visited at prior arrangement.
