The stone was laid on 5th December 1950 by Henry R Masters. Two other names appear on the plaque, Rev.E.W.Hames MA.President of Conference and Rev.B.H.Riseley, Minister.
The Church is no longer a house of Worship and is now used as a Cafe, The Church Cafe, heavenly coffee. The Cross is still visible behind the Cafe sign. Strangely, the building next door is also a church that has been converted for other retail use. There is still a beautiful old Anglican church in use, but in such a very small town there must have been a surplus of Churches.
