On this site was an expansive mill facility which acted as both a grist mill and a cotton gin mill. It is long-since closed. The last business there was a Co-op which closed several years ago.

Three years ago the city of Hutto began serious efforts to dismantle the entire complex with an eye towards future development. It is also currently the site for the local Farmer's Market.
