A large memorial in the Civic Center in downtown Santa Ana.

The memorial consists of 4 slabs that form a cube-like structure. Each slab has a dedication plaques to WWI, WWII, Korea and Vietnam. On the outer part of the memorial, there are plaques with the names of people who helped found the memorial.

The plaques read:

Vietnam: "A Memorial to Orange County Servicemen Who Lost Their Lives in The Vietnam War Zone."

World War I: " Dedicated to the veterans veterans of World War I and those who gave their lives on foreign soil while defending the right of people to live in freedom. United States numbered 4,744,000 with 116,708 making the supreme sacrifice. 1,557 men and women of Orange County served in the American Naval and expeditionary forces."

Vietnam: "Dedicated to the servicemen and servicemen of Orange County who served with honor and to 51 Orange County residents who gave their lives during the Korean War. This monument recognized the contribution rendered by our veterans. Especially those who became casualties of the Korean War."

World War II: "This memorial plaque is provided to recognize the contribution made by servicemen and servicewomen of Orange County who participated in America's Armed Forces during World War II from December 7, 1941 to September 2, 1945. 16,353,659 United States Armed Forces personell took part in the War effort during which 407,318 were killed. 139.709 were captured or missing in action, and over 671,800 were wounded."
