This statue of President Jimmy Carter stand near the GA capitol, on the Washington St side, just north of the stair leading to the main entrance.
President Carter is dressed casually. He wears a long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and the shirt is open at the collar. His knees are slightly bent. His arms are at his side and bent forward at the elbow, both hands are open.
James Earl Carter served two terms as a Georgia State Senator and one as Governor of Georgia. He was the 39th President of the United States.
