Launceston, just off the main A30 at the eastern end of Cornwall, and is known as the "Gateway to Cornwall". Situated on the Devon and Cornwall border and between two Moors of Bodmin and Dartmoor, the town is a traditional market town, and allows easy access to West Devon, the Tamar Valley and North and South Cornwall. This Cornish town, with its Georgian houses, narrow streets and market square. Today it's a shoppers delight, with a range of shops and services equal to many bigger towns, yet Launceston still retains a traditional atmosphere.
