Disk is located one foot outside of the property line of an old school. The school as described in the NGS datasheet from 1983 is no longer used. The building and ball fields behind the school house remain. We received permission from the owner of the schoolyard to travel to the mark area at the property line.

The mark is located as described 3.6 feet north of the orange carsonite witness post.

THE STATION IS A STANDARD NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY DISK STAMPED ---BAIER 1983--- SET INTO THE TOP OF A ROUND CONCRETE MONUMENT 30 CM (12 INCHES) IN DIAMETER FLUSH WITH THE GROUND LOCATED 126.2 METERS (414.0 FEET) S FROM FROM THE CENTER OF WEST COMET ROAD, 121.6 METERS (399.0 FEET) S FROM A POWERLINE POLE NUMBERED 67 79, 1.1 METERS (3.6 FEET) N FROM A WITNESS POST, 1.4 METERS (4.5 FEET) N FROM ONE OF SEVERAL 1 M IRON PIPES ON THE PROPERTY LINE, AND 0.3 METER (1.0 FOOT) E FROM THE PROPERTY LINE OF THE CLINTON SCHOOL.
