Official Description: Seated figure of Thomas Jefferson in a low-backed chair. His proper left arm rests on the back of the chair at wrist level. His proper right hand rests on his proper right thigh. He is clad in colonial costume, legs apart and feet flat. A cloak covers the seat of the chair.
