Moorong Trig

Mt Moorong, Pomingalarna Park, Wagga Wagga Common, NSW

Moorong is a broken trig point but definitely a trig point. The concrete base remains but the pole and fins are gone.

Drive right to the summit carpark.
The view from the trig looks back to the City of Wagga Wagga.
A waypoint in the main competition for the Oz Mega Wagga Wagga Event, Australia's first Mega event, was at this point.

There are a caches to be found near by.
