This copper clad Statue of Liberty, one of the 210 purchased by the Boy Scouts of America in the 1950's is located at the northeast corner of "City Park", in the center of La Junta, Colorado. It is mounted on a 4 foot stone pedestal which is sitting on top of a 2 foot high 12 point star.
I can find very little history about the statue, but the dedication plaque says it was placed in the park in 1951.
