We are a 36 square mile (6mi x 6 mi) rural area in the northeastern part of Waushara County. Not too long ago, we celebrated our Sesquicentennial. A few dairy farms are still in operation as well as a number of Christmas tree plantations.

In “downtown” Saxeville, the U.S. Post Office remains open daily. Where County Highways A, W, and TT meet, the Crossroads Diner is a popular meeting place that enjoys a brisk breakfast and lunch business. The Saxeville/Springwater Volunteer Fire Department, the original Town Hall, School House, General Store and Post Office are in the same area.
