The Clay Library opened Oct 1, 2009 in the historic Jayford Ware Farmhouse (built in 1905). It is located at 7257 Old Springville Road
Pinson, AL 35126-2455. The address says Pinson because the Clay post office is only for P O boxes, no delivery.
At one time the farmhouse was in peril of being torn down to make more room in Clay's 104 acre park. Fortunately the preservationists won and now Clay has a library in the park.
