The centeral focus of the frieze is of a Federal Eagle, from when the building was Wenatchee's Post Office building.
This site is a two building complex of former federal government buildings in downtown Wenatchee. The buildings, one built in 1917 and the other in1937, are now a local landmark on the National Register of Historic Places, The Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center.
