A triangulation pillar standing in a field by Castle Mill Lane, to the east of the village of Ashley, and to the west of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchester_Airport. It isn't possible to touch the pillar, as it stands five feet within the field, but it is fully visible, as is the flush bracket.
