This John Deere plow is the centerpiece to Farmers Plaza in downtown Naperville, Illinois.
The interpretive plaque on the plow reads:
John Deere Highlander Plow (1897)
Purchased from Lewis A Reiche,
at the corner of Main & Jackson
by Adam Meisinger (owner of the plow).
Donated by Earl Meisinger Family.
The marble pedestal is inscribed with the following:
DEDICATED TO
THE FARM FAMILIES
WHO PIONEERED
THE NAPERVILLE COMMUNITY
